Pennsylvania State Police Searching for Stolen Vehicle and Suspects from Berks County


The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating and attempting to locate two suspects involved in the theft of a vehicle in Berks County last week.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on Thursday, December 1st, 2022, around 8:00pm, Troopers assigned to PSP Hamburg were dispatched to the 100 block of Main St., Upper Tulpehocken Twp., Berks County for a reported theft of a motor vehicle. 

Through investigation it was discovered that around 7:50pm, two black males had entered the rear of the property and entered several unlocked vehicles, locating keys to a Silver 1999 Volkswagen Passat bearing PA registration LPY6538. 

The vehicle was stolen and is believed to of traveled towards Route 183. 

The suspects were described as two black males wearing jackets, sweatpants and surgical masks. (Photos included)
