State Police Investigating String of Stolen Dodge Rams in Schuylkill/Berks Counties

The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a string of vehicle thefts and attempted vehicle thefts near Pine Grove recently.

According to police. last month a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Ext Cab Long Bed 5.9 Diesel 4x4 that was Charcoal in color was stolen from Summit Auto located on Tremont Road in Pine Grove Township.

It was the second vehicle stolen from the lot and a few weeks later, another Gen 2 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins was stolen in Berks County.  The investigation into the Berks County theft led police to believe the suspects fled towards Schuylkill County.

This past weekend, State Police say another Dodge was targeted in a vehicle theft in the Pine Grove Area.

Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact Trooper Cody Taft at the Schuylkill Haven Barracks by calling (570) 754-4600.

A $5,000 reward is being offered by Summit Auto for information that leads to the arrest of suspect or suspects.
