Tamara Ruth Charters
, 49, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away suddenly Sunday May 5, 2024.

Born in Ashland, February 27, 1975, she was a daughter of the Joseph J. Erdock Sr. of St. Clair and the
late Dawn M. (Mensinger) Erdock.

She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and received an Associate’s Degree of Arts in Paralegal
Studies from McCann School of Buisiness, Mahanoy City.
She had a lifelong love of horses and animals. Some of her favorite pass times included barrel racing on
the WPRA rodeo circuit, fostering, rehoming, and adopting animals, trail rides, and spending quality time
with family and friends. She was actively involved and promoted ACCT Philly and Ruth Steinert Memorial
SPCA.

She was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, St. Clair.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Erdock Jr.

Surviving are her husband of 27 years Joseph Richard Charters Jr.; daughter Shelby L. Charters of
Lancaster; a son Bailey R. Charters and his wife Kara R. (Rickenbach) Charters of Chambersburg; sister
Heather Kenderdine of St. Clair; nieces and nephews Britney Neifert, Chelsea Kramer, Thomas Charters
Jr., Sawyer Stook, Hazel Stook and Vera Stook; great nieces & nephews Harper, Layla, Rylee, Brett Jr.,
Kevin and Thomas-Nash.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, PO Box 332, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 or ACCT Philly, 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19140.

Bruce “Bear” Hauslyak
, 71, Frackville passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, May 6th.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Andrew and Eleanor (Pomian) Hauslyak.

Bear was a United States Navy Veteran. After the service, he began working as a welder for Dana Industrial for 25 years before working as a prison guard for SCI Mahanoy until his retirement.

He was a member of the Aurand Memorial United Methodist Church of Ringtown and was a former president of the Frackville Ambulance Association.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon (Thomas) Hauslyak of Frackville, his two daughters: Amy Downer and her husband James; Keri Hauslyak Thomas; his son, Scott Hauslyak and his wife Janine; his two sisters: Cheryl Simon and Susan Messick; his 7 grandchildren and his 3 great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

William D. (Bill) Reynolds
, 64, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, May 8th, at Seton Manor Inc., Orwigsburg with his wife of 39 years by his side.

William was born in Aberdeen, MD on August 19, 1959, a son of Elizabeth “Bette” (Jersey) Reynolds, of OH and the late Leo Dale Reynolds. Leo had just passed away May 3rd.

He was the husband of Bonnie Sue (Minnich) Reynolds. They were married on December 28th, 2007.
He he was raised in the Catholic Faith and graduated from Graham High School in TX.

Bill worked as a Forklift Operator for Prysmian Cable and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved fishing, Golfing and classic rock music. He enjoyed going to the casinos and watching the history channel.

In addition to his wife and Mother, Bill is also survived by two sisters, Joanne Arthurs, wife of Tim and Mary Miller, wife of Chris.

He is also survived by 12 nieces & nephews , 20 great nieces & nephews and many friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 Friday, May 17th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg with Chaplin Keith Minnich officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

William John "Bill" Lecher Jr.
, 56 of Pottsville died unexpectedly Tuesday at Geisinger-St. Lukes Hospital, Orwigsburg.

He was born on October 3, 1967, in Pottsville a son of William J. Sr. and Bernadette Koval Lecher, Pottsville.

He was a 1985 graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

He was employed by Pullman Specialty Concrete and was also "Head of Maintenance" for the Bee Hive Salon.

Bill was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville Area Development Corporation, City of Pottsville Zoning Board, Pottsville Area Football Boosters, Walter Griffiths AMVETS Post 180, Frackville Elks Lodge #1533, Local 5 Brich Layers Union, Forest Gun Club.

Bill worked within the construction business his entire life. He has made endless friends and gained lifelong memories. He prided himself on a strong work ethic and thrived in many leadership roles. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and any projects he could get his hands on. He was also an avid Norte Dame Fan and enjoyed traveling to the beach and attending Jimmy Buffett and Bruce Springsteen Concerts.

Bills entire world was his family—blood, chosen and work family alike—he always was there to lend a hand, pour a drink or cheer you on. Bill will always be known as the man who took care of everyone else, but he would love to be remembered as a carefree, beach loving, life of the party that he always was.

In addition to his parents Bill is survived by his wife who was his sweetheart since kindergarten, Kelly Selinko Lecher whom he married on October 17th, 1987. Bill and Kelly were lifelong companions and best friends. They lived a life filled with joy and laughter. They have three children, Samantha Lecher, Philadelphia: Alexandra Deasis and her husband Daniel, Lexington, S.C., and Noah Lecher. Pottsville: Also surviving are a brother John Lecher, Pottsville, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins', brother and sister in laws. Bill was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, cousin, and friend to many and those who knew him best referred to him as “Uncle Bill”.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11AM from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, with Rev. David J. Loeper as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 5-7PM Monday at the church and from 10AM until the time of mass Tuesday. Interment will follow in St. John No. 2 Cemetery, Pottsville. Those who knew Bill best know that he always cheered for the underdog. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Bill be made to the Bill Lecher Underdog Scholarship Fund, C/O Howard S. Fernsler Academic Center, 1501 Laurel Blvd. Pottsville, PA 17901. The donations will be collected for a scholarship to support an “underdog”.

Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.

Dennis L. Schneck
, 85, of Suedberg Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at home.

Born on July 18, 1938 in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Thomas and Martha Granger Schneck.

He was a 1965 graduate of Pine Grove High School.

Dennis was an Owner/Operator of Thomas W. Schneck Coal Company in Pine Grove.

He was a member of the Pine Grove VFW, Pine Grove Fish and Game, Elbow Fish and Game, and the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge #409 F. & A.M., where he was Past Worshipful Master in 1972.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 52 years, Charlotte B. Donton Schneck.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Sr. and wife Jodi Schneck, Dennis and wife Keri Schneck; a daughter, Lisa and husband Dave Clark, all of Pine Grove; ten grandchildren, Angela and husband TJ Hartranft, Casey Clark, Brandon Clark, Michael Jr. and wife Mary Schneck, Mallory Schneck, Alex Keefer, Hailey Keefer, Jodi and husband Tom Geesey, Amy and husband Eddie Kemble, Joe and wife Erin Svrcek; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; five brothers, Donald "Ducky" and wife Barbara, Willard and wife Sue, David and companion Margo Pate, Thomas and wife Rhonda, and Richard Schneck; six sisters, Betty and husband Larry Blumanstock, Helen Lengle, Diane Miller and companion Ron Morgan, Nancy and husband Luke Zechman, Kathy Rupp and husband Brian Wise, and Joanne Anspach and companion Mike Warluft; nieces and nephews; and his caregiver Lori Spotts.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Noon at Jacob's Lutheran Church, 316 Suedberg Rd., Pine Grove with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating. There will be a viewing on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until Noon at the Church. Masonic Services will be held prior to the service at Noon. Interment will follow in Jacob's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to either the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge, 23 Oak Grove Rd., Pine Grove, PA 17963 or Jacob's Lutheran Church, c/o Susan Seavey 114 School St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.
