Shenandoah's Columbia Hose Company Hosts "Touch a Truck" Event

On Saturday, Shenandoah's Columbia Hose Company hosted a "Touch a Truck" event, inviting families to get up close and personal with an impressive array of vehicles from various local businesses.

The event included a diverse lineup of machinery, ranging from fire apparatus to heavy-duty loaders.

Among the participating businesses were Steves Towing, A One Service, Casella Waste, B & R Farm, STS, Blaschak Coal, Brian Gilbert, Antz Energy, Wes Kacilowicz, and Shenandoah Ambulance, each contributing their specialized equipment to the display.

Children and adults alike jumped at the chance to explore the inner workings of fire engines, garbage trucks, buses, tractors, flatbeds, loaders, skid loaders, and even an ambulance. The event provided a unique opportunity for attendees to climb aboard, touch the controls, and learn about the vital roles these vehicles play in their community.
