Lois Thomas 70 of Mahanoy City passed away on May 1st, 2025 with her family by her side, after a brief illness. Born on June 23, 1954, she was proud to be a part of the first set of triplets born in Ashland State Hospital. Lois was a daughter of Francis and Margaret (Sheeler) Mack.

Lois was a 1972 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School. After graduating, she entered the work force. Lois was one of the hardest working women you’d ever meet. Those who knew Lois knew she loved the sun, Wildwood, the Amish, bundukies, General Hospital, her dog Sissy, her family, friends, and her pride and joy, her granddaughter Molly Frances.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Margaret Mack. Her siblings Linda Sheeler and William “Sweeper” Sheeler. Her husband Pete Thomas. Her biological parents Lester and Carrie (Hummel) Sheeler.

She is survived by her daughter Mandy Reed and her husband Justin, Ashland. Her granddaughter Molly Reed. A sister Carol Dower, Shenandoah Heights, many nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.
