Cheryl A. Kephart, 77, of Pottsville, died Friday morning at Providence Place, Pottsville.She was born April 2, 1948, in Pottsville a daughter of the late, Joseph and Laura Powell Corby.
She was a 1966 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and a graduate of Kutztown State Teachers College.
Prior to retiring Cheryl was employed by Blue Mountain School District, Schuylkill County Child Development and Payless Shoe Store,
Cheryl was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, where she taught Sunday School, served as an usher and served on church council at one time. She was a member of the church's Circle 5, Altar Guild, and Kitchen Committee, she also handled the church's food pantry, and was an office volunteer. Cheryl also donated her time volunteering at the Pottsville Soup Kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. "Jack" Kephart on November 6, 2018.
Surviving are her children, Joe Kephart and his wife Tammy, Schuylkill Haven; Vicki Willier and her husband Adam, Ephrata; grandchildren, Haley Zerby, Caitlyn and Jordyn Kephart, Chelsea and Adalie Willier; and brother, Joseph Corby, Jr; AZ; nieces and nephews.
Service of Remembrance will be held 11AM Monday, June 23rd, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30AM until the time of services at the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Cheryl be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St., Pottsville, PA 17901. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.

Paul G. Kemery, 67 years of East Penn Township Lehighton, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Carbon Campus in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
Born Monday, April 7, 1958 in Coaldale Pennsylvania , he was the son of the late Palmer and Bertha (Bowman) Kemery. Paul was also predeceased by; sisters, Alice Camarillo, Ruthie Kemery, Bertha Mason, Berdell Semmel, Shirley Kemery, Violet Kemery; brothers, Wayne, Robert, Charles "Sonny" and Norman Kemery.
Paul is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ella "Dolly" (Marakovits) Kemery; step Children, Rick and Tammy Schuler; brothers Earl Kemery and his wife Tammy, LeRoy Kemery and his wife Barbara; sister, Fern "Becky" Bish; grandchild, Caliana Schuler. Many nieces and nephews also survive Paul.
Paul attended Blue Mountain Schools and served honorably in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer. Paul retired from Lazer Spot Trucking of Fogelsville. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Paul was a proud fan of the Phillies and Eagles.
