Gerard V. “Jerry” Brennan, 90, of Diener’s Hill, died Tuesday June 24, 2025, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville, PABorn in Pottsville, June 6, 1935, He was a son of the late James P. and Elizabeth (Diener) Brennan.
Jerry retired from working at Lehigh Valley Dairy, Schuylkill Haven.
He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Joan (Shappell) Brennan; a son Gerard Brennan; Daughter Joyce Brennan; 2 brothers James Brennan; Patrick Brennan; 4 sisters Elizabeth Frantz, Bernadette Brennan, Mary Brinich and Jean Brennan.
Surviving are daughter Christine Crouse and her husband Carl of Pottsville; Michele Varley husband Jim of Lehighton; 3 sons Shawn F. Brennan and his wife Kathy of Port Carbon; Scott Brennan and his wife Theresa of Pottsville; Christopher Brennan and his wife Danielle of Lehighton; 11 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren and 1 on the way; Nieces and Nephews;
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday June 28, 2025 from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St. St. Clair, PA 17970. Msgr. William F. Glosser will be officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville.

Theresa Kuropatsky, 62, of Gilberton, PA, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born on March 6, 1963, in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Bennett.
Theresa was a dedicated worker, having been employed at Shenandoah Rag and later at UPS in St. Clair. She was the beloved wife of the late David "Bun” Kuropatsky.
She is survived by her loving family, including her mother Earlamonde (Darker) Bennett five sisters: Pearl, wife of Michael Long, of Strausstown; Bernice Bennett, fiancĂ© of David Fortner, of Mahanoy City; Loretta Bennett, fiancĂ© of Joseph O’Boyle, of Ashland; Colleen Gilgore, of Ashland; and Toni, wife of William Walters, of Gilberton. She is also survived by her brother, Michael, husband of Katie, of Gilberton, and her son in law Barry Brassington, Barnesville, sister-in-law, Irene, of Liberty Hill. Theresa was a cherished grandmother to Jacob, Kylie, and Brynlee, and she leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers James and Dennis, her daughter Vicki Brassington, and her grandchild Abbygail.
A Funeral Service at the funeral home at 11 AM on Monday, June 30th, with Pastor Jack Murray officiating.

Thomas A. Owens, 78, formerly of Frackville was called home to God Sunday afternoon June 22nd at his residence in Nanticoke.
He was the son of the late Stella (Nizio) and Paul Owens of Plymouth.
Tom was born and raised in Plymouth and attended Plymouth schools. He was last employed by CVS as a store merchaniser.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and its choir.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were his husband Barry Blank and nephew Mark Bradley Jr who was like his brother.
Tom is survived by his daughter Christine Simon (Daniel), Wilkes Barre; brother Paul Owens (Linda), Plymouth; niece Barbara Gesek, Plymouth; grandchildren Jeremy Simon & Courtney Brocious, Wilkes Barre; sister-in-law Brenda Blank, Long Beach CA
There will be no calling hours, services and interment will be private at All Saints Cemetery in Elysburg.

Joseph R. Snyder, 76, of Wilburton also formerly the Ringtown area passed away Tuesday evening June 24that his residence.
Born in Ashland on March 11, 1949 he was the son of the late Eleanor (Ennis) and Russell. Snyder Sr.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
Joe attended Ashland Area High School before serving in the Army during Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple Heart. After his service he worked most of his career as a truck driver.
Joe was the husband of Barbara A. (Zamonas) Snyder.
He enjoyed watching TV and cooking.
In addition to his parent’s he was preceded in death by; brother Russ Snyder; brother John Snyder; brother Joe Ennis; sister Patricia Kulenguskey; sister Pauline West.
Joseph is survived by spouse Barbara A. Snyder, Wilburton; son Joseph Snyder (Kerry), Aristes; daughter Kristy Snyder-Gruber, Frackville; step daughter Leigh Ann Maurer, Ashland; step son Jeremy Knorr, Ashland; sister Lillian Cawthon, Mt Carmel; sister Rita Fisher, Freeland; brother Francis “Sam” Snyder (Ann), Ashland; 6 grandchildren; nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 1, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 35 N 9th St, Ashland PA 17921. A viewing for family and friends will be from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM prior to services at the church. Burial with full military honors will follow services at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
