Tractor Power Meets Boilo Flavor at Schuylkill County Fair Midweek Events

The third day of the 2025 Schuylkill County Fair is shaping up with a packed evening of rides, contests, educational programs, and live entertainment for all ages.
Gates open at 4 p.m., and the fun kicks off right away as Goodtime Amusements opens the midway with rides, games, and classic fair food. At 4:30 p.m., the daily Tractor Parade will roll in through the Main Gate, giving guests a look at both vintage and modern equipment used by local farmers.

At 5:30 p.m., the always-popular Celebrity Tractor Pull takes over the Ag Museum Track. Local public figures will go head-to-head behind the wheel of powerful machines in a fun and family-friendly competition.

Education meets agriculture at 6 p.m., with two engaging events on the schedule. In the Wildlife Pavilion, Kyle Schutt will present a talk on “Invasive Plants”. At the same time, the Livestock Skill-A-Thon will take place in the Ag Arena, where youth participants will test their animal knowledge and handling skills.

The action continues into the evening with Pull Off Productions & Farm Stock Pulls revving up at 7 p.m. at the Ag Museum Track, providing fairgoers with a high-powered display of strength and horsepower. Meanwhile, the Horse Barn will feature a live Equine Demonstration.

Over on the Main Stage, Jack and Davis Reed, grandsons of country music legends The Statler Brothers, will perform two shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Their performances are sponsored by Schaeffer’s Harley Davidson Motor Sports.

At 7:30 p.m., head to the PA Preferred Building for the always-anticipated Boilo Contest, where local brewers will compete with their best takes on the region’s traditional holiday beverage.

With something happening in every corner of the fairgrounds, Wednesday at the Schuylkill County Fair promises a little bit of everything — whether you're there for the horsepower, the music, the learning opportunities, or simply a fun night out.
