First established in 2003, the scholarship was extended in 2022 and is guaranteed through the spring semester of 2032, ensuring nearly three decades of educational support for Tamaqua graduates.
The program covers up to full tuition costs (after other grants and scholarships are applied) for eligible Tamaqua Area High School graduates pursuing their education at LCCC.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Morgan Foundation for their commitment to LCCC and students from the Tamaqua community,” said LCCC President Dr. Ann D. Bieber. “Mr. Morgan was a gifted entrepreneur whose legacy lives on through this generous scholarship.”
To qualify, students must meet eligibility requirements and submit a Morgan Success Scholarship Information Form along with their LCCC application by the May 1 priority deadline.
More information, including application details, can be found at LCCC.edu/MorganScholarships. For additional questions, contact Ben Turrano at BTurrano@LCCC.edu or call the Tamaqua Morgan Center at 570-668-6880.
