Pottsville Police Investigating Burglary Involving Two Classic 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Airs



Authorities are investigating a burglary in which two antique cars and several other items were stolen from a garage and later found in a hospital parking lot.
According to Pottsville Police, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Anderson Street at approximately 7:11 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025, for a reported burglary.

An investigation revealed that between 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, and 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, someone broke into a garage and removed two 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Airs. The vehicles were later discovered parked in the Lehigh Valley Hospital parking lot, also located in the 700 block of Anderson Street.

Police say several other items were stolen from the garage, including Chevrolet Bel-Air bumpers, two mini-split air conditioning units, and Harley-Davidson fender flares.
