Born on June 27th, 2004, he was the son of Kelli R. (Welker) Shaner, Schuylkill Haven and MSgt William P. Shaner, USAF (Ret.), Orwigsburg.
On April 15th, 2022 of his senior year in high school, Caleb enlisted in the United States Air Force. After graduation from Blue Mountain High School in June 2022, Caleb was sent to basic training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. Following basic training he went to tech school at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, Texas and continued his training at Little Rock AFB in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
He served as a Crew Chief with the 193rd Special Operations Wing, Harrisburg, assigned to aircraft 6206 "Chicken Joe". He also belonged to the 193 SOW Association.
Caleb attended Bloomsburg University where he was studying business management with a focus on sales and marketing. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
Caleb belonged to Kimmels Evangelical Free Church, Orwigsburg.
Caleb was an avid skier, loved nature and spending time outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Caleb is survived by two brothers: William “Brody” & Aiden Patrick Shaner, and maternal grandmother, Patricia Shaner. He was also survived by aunts and uncles: Kimberly Heck (Edward), Frank Welker, Karen Pattison (Steven K.), Michael Shaner (Melissa), Kelly Gonzalez (Mark), Timothy Shaner, & Marie Shaner; and cousins: Elizabeth Ann Combs (Ben), Jennifer Druck (Michael), Tracy Fish (Nathan), Steven R. Pattison, Heather Harris (Jacob), Kristina Pattison, Walter Shaner, Lily, Elias, and Will Baran, Ella Gonzalez, & Riley, Brennan, Kellan, and Ella Shaner.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Almenia & Richard D. Welker; and paternal grandfather, William A. Shaner.
Service details will be announced upon the completion of arrangements.

She was born on Monday, August 10, 1925, in Pitman, a daughter of the late Victor Snyder and the late Edna (Romberger) Snyder.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren Snyder, her second husband, Earling Wittrock, a sister, Orpha Troutman, a nephew, Ronald Troutman, and a great niece, Kelly Mervine
Jean enjoyed reading while her eyesight was good, cooking, and fishing with her husband, Earling from their boat in Florida.
She moved back to PA after her second husband passed away in 2021.
She is survived by a niece, Phyllis (Roger) Mervine; three great nephews, Kris (Wendy) Mervine, Jim (Toni) Troutman, and Rod (Dawn) Troutman; a great niece, Debra Troutman; six great great nieces and nephews; and one great great great niece.
Graveside services will be held at Zion Cemetery, Pitman, on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 3 pm, with Rev. Todd Wolfe officiating.

He was born on January 4, 1954 in Pottsville. He was the son of the late Elvin J. Maley Sr. and Dorothy (Truscott) Maley.
Elvin was a 1971 graduate of Minersville Area High School. After graduation, he entered the work force becoming a part of several established companies including Quaker Maid Kitchens, Cadillac Cable, Lehigh Valley Dairy, various trucking companies including Amazon as a yard jockey until his retirement due to health concerns.
Over the years, Elvin enjoyed many sporting events. He was a dedicated member of the Curran dart throwing league and played softball for many years. When not participating himself, he attended Minersville football games to cheer them on but also enjoyed sitting in his comfy Lazy Boy watching the college football and softball games, the Phillies baseball games, and the ladies' PGA golf tournaments.
Elvin was also an avid hunter looking forward to deer season each year. His deep respect for the sport encouraged him to take on the responsibility of becoming a Game Commissioner for the surrounding area.
Elvin is predeceased by his parents, first wife, Joanne (Warhola) Maley, his sister, Debbie Kosmisky, brother, Michael Maley, niece, Meredith Barnhart, aunts, uncles, and cousins who held a special place in his heart. Elvin's big heart, sense of humor, witty comebacks, and charismatic presence will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him including his wife, Betsy (Mooney), brother, Robert Maley (Angie), Tremont, sister, Colleen Barnhart (Robert), Llewellyn, brother-in- law, Rick Kosmisky, Auburn. Among his survivors are a son, Jeffrey Maley (Heather), Lake Wynonah, grandchildren, Tristan, McKenzie, and Kierra, stepsons, Albert Dusel (Cindy), Port Carbon, and Danny Mooney, St. Clair.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation that on Friday, August 8th from 9 - 11 a.m. followed by a service officiated by Pastor Karen Paquette at the Mahal-Ritzel FuneralHome Funeral Home 104 S. Fourth St. in Minersville, PA.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations made to the First Inited Methodist Church of Llewellyn

Cheryl A. Steele, of Schuylkill Haven, formerly of Minersville, passed away on Sunda7 August 3, 2025.
Born IN Pottsville March 12, 1959 she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Reppy) Rokosky.
A graduate of Minersville High School, she obtained an Associates Degree from McCann School of Business. She worked as a Secretary for several businesses, including Hills Department Store.
She was a member of Holy Family Parish of Minersville, and the former St. Stanislaus RCC. Cheryl enjoyed Reading, Bingo and her snackages provided by her sister Diane.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Stanley and Gerald Rokosky.
Surviving are 3 Brothers Thomas Rokosky of Forestville; Richard Rokosky and his wife Denise of Mar Lin; Robert Rokosky and his wife Denise of Mar Line; Sisters Diane Mcshaw and her companion Robert Krohmer of Minersville; Debra Epler and her husband Robert of Cary NC; Gloria Weidner and her husband Richard of Fleetwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday August 13, 2025 from Dutcavich Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 200 Sunbury St. Minersville, Pa 17954 with Rev. Jojappa Adagatla officiating. Friend may call from 9:00-10:00 Am at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers donation may be made to support juvenile diabetes research at Breakthrough TD1 PO Box 5042 Hagertsown MD 21741. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus #2, Minersville.

She was born on Thursday, January 24, 1929, in Pitman, a daughter the late of Grant F Herring and the late Alma J (Zimmerman) Herring.
She attended the former Hegins Twp High School. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. Dolores was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Pitman, enjoyed gardening, cooking, making ice cream candy, cream puffs, and spending time with her family.
Her husband, Leon C Hepler passed away in 2015. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister, Geraldine Masser.
Delores is survived by two sons, James L (Rachel) Hepler of Pitman, Thomas G Hepler of San Diego, CA; two grandsons, Jesse J (Jennifer) Hepler of Pitman and Josh L Hepler of Pitman; granddaughter, Sally J (Adam) Shope of Hershey; two great-granddaughters, Hannah R Hepler and Ellie R Hepler; great grandson, Luke J Hepler; a sister,Sandra (Dennis) Rothermel of Allentown; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Pitman, on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Pitman.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. James Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
