Walter J. Bensinger
, age 78, of Orwigsburg passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Geisinger - St. Luke's in Orwigsburg, PA.

He was the husband of Clara L. (Grube) Bensinger who passed away in 2011.

Born October 11, 1946 in Orwigsburg, he was the son of the late Irvin and Martha (Amour) Bensinger.

Walter was a 1964 graduate of Blue Mountain High School. After graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was later employed by the United States Postal Service for over 30 years.

Walter was an active member of Christ Church McKeansburg. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Phillies. He also enjoyed supporting Blue Mountain athletics where he, his children, and grandchildren played sports.

Surviving are his son, Michael Bensinger and his wife Michelle of New Ringgold; daughter, Donna (Bensinger) Zacharias and her husband Allen of Lehighton; sisters: Nancy Watkins of Hazleton and Faye Ketner of Schuylkill Haven; nine grandchildren: Ryan and his wife Bonnie, Nina, Aaron, and Sheridan Bensinger; Megan (Bensinger) Gauntlett and her husband Trevor; and Kenny, Benjamin, Jackson, and Molly Zacharias; and two great grandchildren: Vivian and Nathaniel.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Irvin, Charles, and Ronald Bensinger.

A funeral service will be held on his birthday, October 11, 2025, at 11:00AM at Christ Church McKeansburg, 6 S Race Street, New Ringgold, PA with Rev. Jonathan Heim officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:30AM until the time of service. Interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Christ Church Benevolence Fund.

Robert L. Koppenhaver
, 75, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, September 27th, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Pottsville on December 11, 1949, he was the son of the late Lisa Lottie (Lehnert) and Robert L. Koppenhaver.

Married 57 years, Robert was the husband of JoAnn M. (Dohner) Koppenhaver.

Robert proudly served in the U.S. Army for 41 years, retiring with the rank of First Sergeant (1SG).

He was employed part-time at Schuylkill Transportation System.

Robert was a member of Schuylkill Haven American Legion Post #38.

He cherished his role as a grandfather—affectionately known as 'Pap'—and loved gardening and grilling. He was also a dedicated volunteer, assisting veterans by providing transportation to medical appointments.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by a daughter, Kimberly, wife of Brian Yeakel; a son, Jason Koppenhaver, husband of Katrina; grandchildren: Tyler Yeakel, husband of Desiree, Calysta Koppenhaver and her significant other, Vinny, and Lakelyn Koppenhaver; and great grandson, Brycen. He is also survived by a sister, Karen; brothers: Bruce, Mike, Craig, Andrew, and Bradley; & his dog, Bear.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by a brother, Rick Koppenhaver.

A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Monday, October 6th at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, October 7th at the funeral home with a visitation at 11:30 AM until the beginning of the service. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Richard "Dick" Antonio
, of Napa, CA, went home to the Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Meadows of Napa Valley Retirement Fa-

Dick was born October 9, 1939 in Minersville, PA.

A son of the late Albert Antonio and Julia (Senko) Antonio. Graduating Minersville High School - Class of

1957. Served his country in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, stationed in Annapolis, MD area.

He lived in Easton, MD, enjoyed the Eastern Shore before going to California.

Dick is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Barbara (Dodson) Antonio; daughter Tracy (Antonio) Yagi, Redondo Beach, CA; daughter Sheri (Antonio) Israel, Cleveland, OH; son Chistopher Antonio, Sunnyvale, CA.

Four grandchildren, Grace and Erin Yagi; Lily and Macey Israel. Siblings, Bob, brother, wife Gloria, Williamsburg, VA; Tony, brother, Drexel Hill, PA Several cousins, nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by sister, Barbara Antonio, Minersville, PA

Dick retired from Ampex Corp. in Redwood, CA, as the Vice President of Sales-Magnetic Tape division, a very successful career.

His passions were deeply rooted in his family, extensive hobbies; golf, boating, etc. avid sports tan especially Navy football.

A true believer in the Catholic faith and therefore may his Soul rest in peace.

Mass of Christian Burial to be held October 18, 2025 at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Parish, Annapolis, MD.

James R. Bohrman Sr. was born and lived in Bohrman’s Mill his whole life. He was the first of three boys born to Helen and Paul Bohrman. Being the oldest of three boys he was a born leader.

Jim graduated from Schuylkill Haven High School in 1953. This is where he met his wife of 69 years Roberta Reber. He became an electrician and was a proud member of the IBEW for 55 years.

He was a natural athlete and his love of golf became an obsession that made him a recipient of a meritorious achievement award in the PA Sports Hall of Fame in October of 1999. He was a true sportsman and valued good etiquette. He always knew the lie of everyone’s ball. Generous, kind, and truthful he lived his life taking care of family.

He is survived by his daughter Jayne Chadsey, son-in-law Tobey Chadsey, son, James Roy Bohrman Jr., daughter-in-law Lynette Bohrman, granddaughter, Amber Vignati, husband Steve Vignati, and two great grandchildren, Gemma and Aidan Vignati.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Grabowski Funeral Home in Schuylkill Haven. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Keith R. Morgan, 72, of Minersville, former Joliette resident, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at his residence. Born in Pottsville, April 26, 1953, he was the son of the late Arthur and Lorraine (Harner) Morgan. He was a graduate of the Williams Valley High School, class of 1972. Keith was a member of Christ’s United Lutheran Church, Airport Road, Ashland. He was an accomplished organist, playing for weddings and funerals in churches throughout Schuylkill County. Preceding him in death was a brother Rodney.

Surviving is a step sister; Carol Bernatonis, Pottsville

Relative and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Keith’s Life, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11 AM, in Christ’s Lutheran Church, 437 Airport Road, Ashland, Pa. Officiating will be Rev. Brian Bissel, pastor.
