The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of its 2025 Annual Awards, honoring outstanding individuals and businesses.
This year’s honorees include:
  • Business Person of the Year – Vince Boyle, Vince Boyle Team, Century 21 Ryon Real Estate
  • Business of the Year – Holman & Pitts Law LLC, Christine Holman and Jackie Pitts
  • Joseph M. Plasko Citizenship Award – Sharon Stokes & Julie Stokes, Stoke’s Ministry & G-Lady’s Food Pantry
“These awards celebrate more than professional success—they recognize the heart and dedication that strengthen our entire community,” said Aimee Dotson, Executive Director of the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber is proud to call these honorees our neighbors, colleagues, and friends. The theme of this year’s dinner, ‘Stronger Together,’ reminds us that when one business or individual succeeds, we all succeed. Their achievements shine a light on what makes Tamaqua such a special place to live and work.”

In addition to the award presentations, the Chamber will welcome Katharina Styerzel, Founder of LeaveYourBoxWithKat Coaching & Consulting, LLC, as keynote speaker. Known for her empowering approach to leadership and personal growth, Styerzel will share insights on collaboration, resilience, and community strength, reinforcing the evening’s theme.

The awards will be presented during the Chamber’s Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Mountain Valley Golf Course. The event begins with a cocktail hour at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner, recognition of the honorees, and a celebration of the Chamber’s members and partners.
