Tri-Valley Dominates Nativity

Tri-Valley used a powerful rushing attack and a dominant first half to earn a 42-13 victory over Nativity BVM on Friday night.

Both teams entered the matchup with identical 2-1 records, but the Bulldogs quickly took control and never looked back.

Tri-Valley (3-1) struck first when sophomore running back Parker Hatter capped off an early drive with a 4-yard touchdown run. The Bulldogs continued to build momentum in the second quarter as Hatter found the end zone again from five yards out. Moments later, senior Cole Gemberling broke free for a 57-yard touchdown run.

Before halftime, Hatter added his third touchdown of the night, this time on another 4-yard carry, giving Tri-Valley a commanding 28-0 lead at the break.

The Bulldogs didn’t let up after intermission. Junior wideout Trey Porter punched in a 14-yard touchdown run, and Gemberling followed with his second long score of the night, a 34-yard dash to the end zone. That extended Tri-Valley’s advantage to 42-0 heading into the fourth quarter.

Nativity (2-2) refused to go down without a fight, scoring twice in the final quarter. Senior Colt Mason got the Green Wave on the board with a 35-yard touchdown run. Later, freshman quarterback Cole Felty connected with Liam Garrity on a 27-yard touchdown pass. Despite the late rally, the deficit was too much to overcome.

Tri-Valley now turns its attention to a key clash as it hosts undefeated rival Williams Valley next week.

Nativity will look to bounce back quickly when it welcomes Panther Valley.
