Dolores D. Martin, a 96-year-old resident of Tamaqua, passed away on Wednesday evening October 29. 2025 in Allentown, held in the warmth of her family's love. She was known to many simply as a good neighbor, and for her, that was the highest compliment.Born in Tamaqua on August 9, 1929, to the late James and Annabell (Sassaman) Pruett, Dolores was a true local through and through. After graduating from Tamaqua High School, she worked at the National Store and Atlas Powder Co. but found her true calling in the home, raising her family with her beloved husband, Bernard J., who passed away in 2010.
Dolores’s life was rich with the simple, meaningful moments she treasured. She was an avid reader and enjoyed a challenging word puzzle, but her happiest moments were spent with the people she loved. If you were looking for her on a summer evening, you'd find her on her front porch, connecting with the neighbors who were more like family. Her legacy is one of friendship, community, and the simple kindness she extended to everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted children: Gary Martin and his wife Barbara, Dale Martin and his wife Darlene, Diane Mountz wife of Tim, Cathy Holmberg, Ruth Martin, and Beth Martin. Her memory lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Brian Martin and his wife Ellen, Blake Martin and his wife Morgan, Amanda Holmberg, Allison Martin, James Martin and his wife Kristy and Amy Green and her husband Jason, as well as seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister-in-laws, Phyllis Pruett, Jessie Hartwig, and a host of cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Franklin "Pete" Pruett.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 3, 2025 from the funeral home at 11 o'clock A.M, her friend and neighbor Gene Brode will officiate Dolores's funeral. Friends and family may call from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.
Interment will take place at White Church Cemetery in Barnesville Pennsylvania.

William M. Harner, 55 of Auburn, died Sunday Oct 26 while camping.
He was born January 12, 1970, in Reading, a son of Bettye Shunk Harner, Adamstown and the late Larry R. Harner, Sr.
He was a graduate of Wilson High School.
He was employed as an electrician for Champion Redmond Homes.
Bill served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Storm.
Bill was a passionate outdoor enthusiast who loved camping. He often shared his experiences and insights through his own YouTube channel, where he connected with a community of like-minded individuals who shared his love for the great outdoors.
Bill’s legacy is one of service, camaraderie, and a deep appreciation for nature. He will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Surviving are his wife Pamela Kinsey Harner; 3 stepchildren, William, Stephanie, and Tiffany King. 8 grandchildren, Kaylee, Ben, Emily, Brigdon, Connor David, Ainsley and Skylar.
Funeral Services will be held 11AM Wednesday at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30AM until time of services at the funeral home.

Eugene R. Rossi Sr, 80, of St. Clair, passed away Tuesday October 28, 2025, at Home surrounded by his family.
Born in Pottsville, December 13, 1944, He was a son of the late Lino and Margaret (Buglia) Rossi.
He attended Minersville High School. Gene dedicated over 40 years to his career as a tree surgeon, foreman and right-of way specialist, working for several utility subcontractors including Penn Line, Asplundh and Lewis Tree Services.
He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair; St. Clair Fish & Game Association.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Anthony Rossi.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years Mary (Burke) Rossi; Children Eugene Rossi and his wife Lisa of St. Clair; Kenneth Rossi and his wife Sharon of Pottsville; Brian Rossi of St. Clair Lynn Hale and her husband Eric of Port Carbon; Michael Moore and his wife Kristen of Barnesville; Grandchildren Sonja Williams and her husband Alex; Briana Rossi; Kenneth Rossi Jr. and his wife Mandy; Tyler Rossi and his wife Katherine; Joseph Rossi; Lily Hale; Austin Hale; Kyla Cotner and her husband Tom; 2 Great Grandchildren Maxine Cotner and Mary Williams; brother Emmanuel “Junior” Rossi; Nieces and Nephews;
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St. St. Clair, PA 17970 with. Msgr. William F. Glosser officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clare of Assisi Memorial Fund at the above address. Burial will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville.

Born in St. Clair, July 25, 1948, He was a son of the late Michael and Anna (Golida) Futchko
He was a graduate of St. Clair High School and went on to work at Keystoker Furnaces, Schuylkill Haven.
Surviving are brother Lawrence Futchko of St. Clair; nephews Dakota Futchko and his fiancé Lizzy Walters of Primrose; Hunter Futchko and his Companion Skylar Good of St. Clair; Great Nephew Ryder Futchko of Pottsville.

Donald J. "Dewey " Setlock, Sr., age 75, of Kaska, PA , passed away Thursday, October 30th, 2025 at Tremont Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born in Pottsville, PA on July 11, 1950, he was the son of the late Peter Frank and Dorothy Agnes (Griffin) Setlock.
Dewey retired from SAPA in Cressona. He was a Board member of the Blythe Twp. Municipal Authority. Dewey was a great gardener. He loved the outdoors, especially going to Hawk Mountain hiking and collecting rocks, loved his animals, and enjoyed being with his family..
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Russell, Paul, Jerome, Peter, and Dennis and sisters: Severine Prock, Sheila Moser, Sandra Setlock, and Sylvia Kostura.
Dewey is survived by his wife of 52 years, Donna M. (Farrell) Setlock, Kaska; daughters: Jennifer Woodward and her husband George, Pottsville and Jacqueline Setlock and her husband Allen Stevenosky, Delaware; a son Donald J. Setlock Jr. and his wife Karen Nightingale, Brick, NJ; grandchildren: Bryce, Madeline, and Aidan Stevenosky and Evan and Gavin Woodward; sisters: Shirley Kulikosky and Sharon Reeves; brothers: Dale and Patrick Setlock; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon. at 7:30PM on Monday, November 3rd, with Deacon John Setlock officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday evening from 5:30-7:30PM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be private.

June E. Romberger, 94, of Muir, passed away peacefully, Wednesday afternoon, October 29, 2025 at the Heritage Mills Personal Care Home.
Born in Muir on Thursday, July 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Harvey and Sadie Schell Hand. She was a graduate of the former Porter Tower High School.
June was a retired cook for the Williams Valley School District.
She was of the Methodist faith.
June was an avid crocheter, making hundreds of dish clothes that she shared with family and friends. She will be remembered as a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed having a clean home. She loved to cook and bake and was especially known for her famous cookies. Throughout her life she had many dachshunds who she thought the world of.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband DavidRomberger, 2000; her daughter, Lorie Koppenhaver, 2014; son-in-law, David Koppenhaver, 2016; sister, Betty Harman; a brother, George Hand.
Surviving are her son, William Romberger and his wife Monica, Muir; two grandchildren, Adam Koppenhaver and his wife Audrie, Williamstown, and Rebecca Koppenhaver, Tower City; three great grandchildren, Sam, MaKenna, and Brooklynn; a dear friend, Kim Leitzel; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of June's Life will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City, with Pastor John Lesher officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel. June will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.
