Elsie Clara Kunkel, 86, of Pottsville, PA, formerly of Orchard Lane, Orwigsburg passed away Thursday, October 2nd, while in the company of family.

Elsie was born in Drehersville on June 24, 1939, a daughter of the late Clara E. (Sterner) and Clarence J. Seltzer.

She was the widow of Morton H. Kunkel. She worked as a farmer and also was employed in the local textile mills.

Elsie is survived by two daughters, Linda Sterner, wife of Mark and Susan Stein, wife of James.

Elsie is also survived by her grandchildren Kile Sterner , Companion of Taylor Dreisbach, Madison Sterner, Melanie, Tanya, Kristen, Emily and Molly.

Elsie was predeceased by her daughter Bonnie Schrader, wife of Barry

A Religious Service will be held at 12:00 on Monday, October 13th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Pastor Eugene Eckroth officiating. Public visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Interment will be in Steigerwalt's Church Cemetery.

Cecelia M. Savadge
, 73, of Mount Carmel passed away Wednesday afternoon October 1, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center Wyoming Valley.

Born in St. Louis, MI on October 10, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Erma (Ingersoll) and Richard Hudson Sr.

Cecelia was of member of the Ashland Christian Union Church. She graduated from St. Louis High School in 1969.

She last worked for Knoebel’s in housekeeping.

Cecelia was preceded in death by; parents; brother Richard Jr.; sister Ellen Burke; daughter in law Karen Savadge; daughter in law Amy Savadge.

She enjoyed Elvis, Dark Shadows, classic county music and spending time with her family.

Cecelia is survived by; sister Linda Wertzbar, AZ; sister Carol Webster (Wes), MI; sister Gwen Hill (Bryan), OK; brother J.L. Hudson (Kat), MI; son Frederick Savadge (Angel Walton), Hazleton; son William Savadge (Sandy), Mt. Carmel; son Kirk Savadge (Heather), McAdoo; 7 grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services will be announced at a later date.

Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home Inc, 901 Centre St, Ashland PA 17921 have been entrusted with the arrangements.
