Mahanoy City Elks Lodge Honors Veterans, Supports Local Legion

The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge continued its long-standing tradition of honoring those who served by hosting its annual Veterans Dinner on Monday, November 11th.
Veterans from throughout the area were treated to a meal and fellowship as the Elks paid tribute to their service and sacrifice. The event, held each year on Veterans Day, is part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to supporting local veterans and community service programs.

Tom Dobeck was this year's guest speaker.

During the evening, the lodge presented an $800 donation to the American Legion Post 74 in Mahanoy City. The funds were provided through an Elks National Foundation (ENF) grant obtained by the local lodge to assist the Legion with its upcoming Free Thanksgiving Dinner for the community.
