John H. DiCello, 76, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, November 25th, at home.

John was born in Pottsville on January 6, 1949, a son of the late Francis & Mary (Hochgertel) DiCello.

He was the widower of Ann Marie (Fronza) DiCello, his loving wife of 22 years.

John was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, and the Train Collectors Association.

John held several positions with the United States Postal Service, retiring as a clerk.

He is survived by five children: Eric DiCello, Baltimore, MD, Randy DiCello & wife, Marlo, Oley, PA, Tammy Carannante & husband, Mario, Fleetwood, Jevin DiCello & companion, Gina Costy, Seltzer, & Justin DiCello, Barnesville, and grandchildren: Sam, Ben, Justine, Maurianna, Gianna, Levi, Zoey, Logan, Delaney, & Jax.

In addition to his parents and wife, John is also preceded in death by two siblings: Carl and Annette DiCello, and his step-son, Joseph DeLellis.

John was known for his passion for model railroading, always welcoming guests to see his train layout. He also enjoyed construction projects with his children and friends. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 3rd at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven. A Visitation will be held from 9:15-10:15 AM at the church. Interment will follow at St. Ambrose Cemetery, Cressona.

The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to National Toy Train Museum PO Box 248, Strasburg, PA 17579-0248.

Jeffrey A. Saylor
, 55, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, November 27th at home.

Born in Pottsville on March 28th, 1970, he was the son of the late Shirley E. (Driesbach) and Charles J. Saylor.

Jeffrey was a 1991 graduate of Schuylkill IU29.

He was employed in the workshop at Avenues in Pottsville until 2020.

He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Jeffrey loved bowling, miniature golf, listening and singing to music, dances at Avenues and riding the tramcar in Wildwood, NJ. He enjoyed watching sporting events and his favorite teams were the Phillies, Eagles and Penn State. Hotdogs, pizza and green beans were his favorites. He was always smiling and especially loved giving hugs. He brought great joy to everyone who knew him.

Jeffrey is survived by his brother and devoted caretaker, Charles B. Saylor of Schuylkill Haven.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3rd at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until the beginning of the service. Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to Avenues Foundation, 2 Park St. Agricultural Park, Pottsville PA 17901.

Danyel M. Miller
, 25, of Shenandoah, passed away tragically on Friday, November 14, 2025, due to a motor vehicle accident.

He was born in Danville, Pa, on July 6, 2000, to his mother Michelle Miller of Shenandoah.

Danyel was a car enthusiast and worked as an automotive mechanic. He loved playing and coaching soccer, going to the gym, hanging out with his friends, and watching boxing.

He is survived by his mother- Michelle Miller of Shenandoah, his daughter- Giselle Marion Miller, his 2 sisters- Hayley Hammer with Richard Crowley of Georgia and Ashley Miller of Shenandoah, his girlfriend- Mandi Beaman along with his 2 step-sons- Jayce and Myles Smith, and his 2 nephews- Elijah and Khai Miller.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd from 3 to 6pm at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah.

Robert Francis Corson
, age 97, of Pottsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Keystone Villa Fleetwood in Blandon, PA.

Born in Mahanoy City, PA, on February 28, 1928, he was the son of the late Leon and Anna (Sockel) Corson.

Bob was a graduate of St. Stephen High School, Class of 1945. He retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of service. He enlisted after WWII and served during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He continued his career working as a supervisor for the Civil Service at the 99th Combat Support Hospital.

Bob was a member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon and the Schuylkill Haven American Legion, Post 38.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Bertha Helen (Hamby) Corson, who passed away on May 19, 2013; a son, James R. Corson; a daughter, Kathy C. Seeman; two sisters, Dorothy (Corson) Legutko and Alberta (Corson) Dodd; and brothers, Nicholas and Daniel Corson.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie A. (Corson), and her husband, Harry Charowsky, of North Bend, WA; six grandchildren: Jennifer Charowsky Rielly, James, Andrew, and Matthew Corson, Huey James Seeman, and Ashley (Seeman) Speilman; eight great-grandchildren: Kialee, Aden, Everett, Elizabeth, Prudence, Declan, Cora, and Juliet; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Chapel in Port Carbon at 10 AM on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday morning from 8 to 9:30 AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon.

Interment with military honors will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville at 12:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
