The City of Pottsville is inviting residents to submit letters of interest to serve on several city boards, commissions, and authorities.
City officials announced that letters of interest and resumes are now being accepted for the following bodies:
- Sewer Authority
- Parking Authority
- Redevelopment Authority
- Lasting Legacy
- Recreation Commission
- Planning Commission
- Blighted Property Review Committee
- Housing Authority
In addition to those previously advertised positions, the City has added openings for the following boards:
- Zoning Hearing Board
- Fair Hiring Board
Residents interested in serving are asked to submit a letter of interest specifying which board, commission, or authority they wish to serve on, along with a resume.
Submissions may be delivered to Pottsville City Hall, Attn: City Clerk’s Office, or emailed to cityclerk@pottsvillepa.gov.
All letters of interest and resumes must be received by 4:00 p.m. on December 30, 2025.
