Daniel Boniscavage, 68, Frackville, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 14th at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Edmund and Eva (Billie) Boniscavage. He was the owner/operator of his own Title and Deed Company.

He is survived by his sister Andrea Buchanan and her husband Gary, Frackville.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, is in charge of arrangements.

Ann Marie Minarchick
, 90, of McAdoo, passed away Thursday evening at the Mahoning Post Acute Nursing and Rehab Center, Lehighton.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Chapko) Hollick, and of the Ukrainian Catholic faith. She was a McAdoo High School graduate, class of 1953.

Prior to retiring, she was employed in the local garment industry.

Ann Marie was gifted at sewing and found joy in decorating her home for the holidays. She also loved collecting antiques, treasuring the stories and charm they held.

Preceding her in death, was her sister, Dolores Krevitski.

Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Duda and husband Michael of Lehighton; granddaughter, Zoryana Duda; brother, John R. Hollick and wife Rosemary of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.

A Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, McAdoo, by Rev. Mark Fesniak on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.

A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church.

The Damiano Funeral Home Inc., McAdoo, is assisting the family.

Annette "Netty" Sosna
, 71, a lifelong resident of Shenandoah, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025.

Annette was born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital in Shenandoah on April 27th, 1954, a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Obzut) Sosna. She was a graduate of the former JW Cooper High School in Shenandoah, and went on to work for and retired from Jeld Wen Inc., of Ringtown.

Netty was an avid Miami Dolphin football fan, and enjoyed going swimming. She loved having Sunday breakfast out with her family and friends, enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the local Casinos. She was also an avid softball player, along with being a coach for the Shenandoah Area Girls Softball League where she also umpired for over 10 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven and Michael Sosna.

She is survived by four brothers, John, Jr., Paul, David 'Yogi' and Mark; along with five sisters, Kathleen Beenick, Bonita "Tootsie" O'Donnell, Marie Clark, Theresa Leonarczyk and Victoria Lindenmuth.

Netty is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces that she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, December 26th, 2025 from 10 am until 12 Noon at the Walukiewicz Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah.

Netty will be laid to rest during private family services at a later date.

Ronald W. Lindner, Sr.
, 85, a resident of Ringtown, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning, Decemberr 16th, 2025.

Ronald was born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital in Shenandoah on March 8, 1940, a son of the late Woodrow W. Lindner and Helen (Sabo) Scott. He was a 1958 graduate of the former Ringtown High School, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

In addition to a lifetime of working on his families farm, Fair Acres in Ringtown, he began a career working as a machinist, retiring from the former Barrett and Haentjens Company in Hazleton.

He enjoyed raising horses, along with building and restoring automobiles and trailers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Lindner.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sheryl (Reese) Lindner, along with their children, Linda, wife of James Tarlecki of Aristes; Ronald Lindner and his wife Jennifer of Orangeville; and Robert Lindner of Ringtown. Eight grandchildren also survive, James (J.T.) Tarlecki, Jr; Robert Tarlecki; Bryan Tarlecki (Nicole); Kristen Smith (Matthew); Jonathon Lindner; Catherine Robbins; Sullivan Lindner and Elise Lindner, along with five great grandchildren, Charlotte Smith; Alexandria Smith; Connor Tarlecki; Michael Tarlecki and Alexzander Robbins.

Two brothers, James Lindner and his wife Kathryn and Terry Lindner, both of Ringtown also survive, as does his sister in-law, Carlene Linder of Patriotic Hill, along with nieces and nephews.

Private services are being provided by the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, Ringtown, in accordance with Ronalds wishes.

Marie Lettiere
, 94, of Kelayres and formerly of Hazleton, passed away Saturday at Forest Hills Rehab. and Healthcare Center, Weatherly.

Born in Kelayres, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Damico) Scarlato, and a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hazleton.

Prior to retiring, she worked alongside her husband at Kapes Auto Electric, Hazleton.

Marie was an avid bowler and also loved to golf. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and will be sadly missed by all.

Preceding her in death, were her husband, James Lettiere; brothers, Michael, Joseph, Louis, Charles, Samuel, Angelo and Paul Scarlato; sisters, Rose Alampi and Josephine Scarlato; nephew, Michael J. Scarlato; and niece, Mary Theresa Mitchell.

Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Oswald and husband Alan of Kelayres; grandchildren, Christopher Wallace and wife, Megan of Tampa, FL; and James Wallace and wife, Miriam of Bella Vista, AR; great-grandchildren, Elena, Troy, and Dante; and many nieces and nephews.

Her memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10, at 10 a.m. at Capriotti’s Cappella, One Banks Ave., McAdoo. Pastor Lance Moyer will conduct the service. Interment will be held privately in St. Gabriel’s R.C. Cemetery, Hazleton.

A calling hour will be held Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at The Cappella.

The Damiano Funeral Home, McAdoo, is assisting the family.
