Ralph Carl Jones
, 79, formerly of Schuylkill Haven and originally from Delaware County, passed away Monday, December 1st, at his daughter and caretaker, Christi’s home.

Ralph was born in Chester, PA on November 9, 1946, a son of the late Denny & Josephine (LaSpina) Jones.

He was scouted to the St. Louis Cardinals minor league for baseball but decided to serve in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Upon his return, he worked as a maintenance supervisor in Philadelphia for many years until retirement.

He was a devoted Philly sports fan and especially enjoyed watching baseball. Above all else, Ralph loved spending time with his family.

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Christi Beuchler, wife of Derek, Schuylkill Haven, son, Paul Ford, husband of Sarah, Hometown, grandchildren: Nathaniel Rivera, Kiana Rivera, Jina Brennan, Ryleigh Ford, Charlotte "Charlie" Ford, siblings: Denny Jones, Jr., Josephine Kendig, Sara Fasulo, Ronald Jones, & Shirley Hall, and nieces & nephews.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 13th at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008 at 11AM. A Viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of service.

Interment with military honors will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.

The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to DAV – Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.

Anna E. Formica
, 72, of Tamaqua passed away Tuesday morning December 2, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg.

Born in Coaldale on March 5, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Madeline (Cerimele) and Bernard Horn Sr.

Anna was of the Catholic faith.

She graduated from Panther Valley High School in 1971. She was last employed as a LPN and last worked for Gnaden Huetten Hospital for many years as well as doing private duty nursing.

Anna enjoyed her cats and volunteering at the SPCA.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by; step mother Janet Horn; brother Bernard Jr.; brother Joseph Sr.; brother Thomas; sister Lori Snyder.

Surviving are her son Robert Marcharsky, Tamaqua; brother Lamar Fronheiser, Lehighton; sister Deborah Steigerwalt, Lehighton; brother Brian Horn Sr., Lehighton; sister Melissa Primer, Lehighton; brother Richard Horn, Palmerton; 2 grandchildren Mackenzie & Lucas Marcharsky; many nieces & nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday December 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Dana Beil officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of services at the funeral home Saturday. Interment will be at a later date.

William L. "Peanie" Morgan
, 78, of Tower City, passed away Wednesday morning, December 3, 2025 at his home.

Born in Pottsville on Wednesday, January 1, 1947, a son of the late Marlin and Ruth Hoffman Moyer. He was a 1965 graduate of the former Porter Tower High School.

Peanie worked for many years at the former Mansonwear Factory, Muir. Following the closing of Mansonwear, he worked and retired from Dayton Superior, Tremont.

He was a member of the St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Orwin.

Peanie was an avid outdoorsman. He especially loved hunting for deer and bear. His love for hunting led him to operating his own butcher shop. He always looked forward to time spent at his camp in Potter County. Peanie was the happiest when he was outdoors, whether it would be hunting, riding four-wheelers, or just taking in whatever nature has to offer.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Donna Oxenrider Morgan; a son, Troy Morgan, Orwin; three grandchildren, Drew and Claire Morgan and Matthew Middelton.

Following Peanie's wishes there will be no services.

Memorial donations in his memory can be made to St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 427 Dietrich Avenue, Tower City PA 17980.

Rosemarie A. "Rose" (Kimsel) Eye
, 84 of Girardville, passed away on Sunday, November 30th, 2025 in her home.

Born at the former Shamokin State Hospital, Coal Township on August 9, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Henry A. and Regina I. “Jean” (Fadrowski) Kimsel.

She was educated in the local catholic schools.

On March 2, 1957 in Centralia, she married David J. Eye who preceded her in death on March 18, 2003.

Prior to her retirement, Rose owned and operated Dave Eye's Bar in Girardville from 1975 until 2018. She also was a floral designer having been employed at the former Kitty and Dotty’s Flowers and Gift Shop in Ashland.

Rosemarie was a member of the former St. Joseph’s Church in Girardville.

She treasured the time spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to family, Rose loved taking her grandchildren camping in her RV at local state parks and other campgrounds throughout the state. She also loved her trips to Nashville, TN to visit Graceland and the Grand Ole Opry. Even though only several people were present, she starting singing out loudly on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry much to the embarrassment of her family. She laughed and said she did not care, no one there knew her anyway. Rose also loved music and would always be singing along at home to all the country songs. Rose also really looked forward to Sundays when she would listen to three straight hours of polkas on the radio. She also really looked forward to her Tuesday visits to Danny's with Rick and her Thursday Centiole's pizza night with Dave.

Surviving are her two sons, David J. Eye and his wife Marci (McCoy) Eye of Aristes and Rick H. Eye and his wife Denise (Pekera) Eye of Girardville; five grandchildren, David Eye and his wife Amanda of Mount Carmel, Jennifer Eye and her companion Al Tillerson of Lyndhurst, NJ, Jeremy Eye and his companion Suzy Ulicny of Harrisburg, Jessica Redding and her husband Tom of Bethlehem and Josh Eye and his companion Rachel Roseman of Bethlehem; four great-granddaughters, Hadley, Harper and Nora Redding and Milan Tillerson; nieces, nephews and their families.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and her husband were her brother, Vince Kimsel and her two sisters, Patricia McCormick and Virginia Cichoskie.

Funeral services and interment in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Fountain Springs will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in Rosemarie’s memory to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc.
