Sandra L. Darcangelo, 64, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, December 7th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill, E. Norwegian St. Campus, Pottsville.Sandra was born in Schuylkill Haven on July 29, 1961, a daughter of the late Paul & Helen (Ziegler) Kramer.
She was a 1979 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School where she participated with the high school marching band as a majorette. Later Sandra earned an associate’s degree from Central Penn College.
She loved cats and spending time in the sun.
Sandra had been employed as a medical transcriptionist at the former Schuylkill Medical Center, S. Jackson St. Campus, Pottsville and Schuylkill Pediatrics, Pottsville as a medical assistant.
She was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven.
Sandra is survived by her son, Paul R. Darcangelo, Schuylkill Haven, companion of nearly 25 years, Jeff Berk, Shillington, former husband and close friend, Bob Darcangelo, Orwigsburg, cousin, Brad Kerschner, Schuylkill Haven, and caregivers and dear friends: Nelda Adams, Sherri Cooper, & Bernadette Mason.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, December 15th at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven, with Rev. Ted Rathman officiating. A Visitation will be held at the church from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Manbeck Cemetery, Washington Township.

Dennis M. Bro, 63, of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed away on November 25, 2025.
Born on November 17, 1962, in Philadelphia, he was the son of Elizabeth (Betsy) Bro and the late Dennis P. Bro.
Dennis earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Boston Architectural College.
Dennis worked at Pratt and Whitney for many years and most recently worked at Peacock Architects in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
His survivors include his mother, Elizabeth (Betsy) Bro, his sister, Eileen Buchinsky (Yogi) and his brother, Daniel Bro (Tracy). He is also survived by his nephews, Jimmy Buchinsky, Mark Buchinsky and Carson Bro and his niece, Felicia Bro.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dennis’s memory can be made to Divine Mercy Parish.
The Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, Shenandoah are entrusted with the arrangements.

Richard L. Weikel, 86, of Woodland Heights, Ashland, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Geisinger Shamokin Community Hospital, Coal Township.
The Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, will announce funeral arrangements.
