Tri-Valley entered the game unbeaten at 3–0 overall and 2–0 in league play, while Shenandoah Valley came in at 1–4 overall and 0–2 in Division 2 action. The Bulldogs set the tone early, jumping out to a 23–11 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looking back.
Tri-Valley maintained control through the second quarter, extending its lead to 38–25 at the half. The offense continued to click in the third, as the Bulldogs stretched the advantage to 57–37 heading into the final eight minutes before closing out the win.
Braeden Doyle led all scorers with a game-high 30 points for Tri-Valley, knocking down three three-pointers and going a perfect 3-for-3 from the free-throw line. Trey Porter followed with 24 points, while C. Carl added 13. K. Johnson chipped in 10 points, including two three-pointers, and K. Clemmer finished with two.
Shenandoah Valley was paced by Jonnuel Reyes with 17 points, highlighted by five three-pointers. Burrous added 16 points, Alexander Rivera scored 12, and Niko White finished with nine. Christopher scored four, the bench contributed two points, and B. Hernandez added one.
With the loss, Shenandoah Valley falls to 1–5 on the season and will look to bounce back when it hosts Weatherly on Monday.
Tri-Valley remains unbeaten in both regular-season and league play and will return to action Saturday at home against Southern Columbia.
