Federal prosecutors announced that Bryce Robert Elliott, 21, of Pottsville, was indicted for the production and distribution of child pornography.
According to United States Attorney Brian D. Miller, the indictment alleges that between December 2024 and January 2026, Elliott engaged in the production of videos depicting sexual activity involving a toddler. Prosecutors allege that the videos were subsequently distributed over the internet.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Assistant United States Attorney Luisa Honora Berti is prosecuting the case.
The charges are being brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the U.S. Department of Justice to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse. The program coordinates federal, state, and local resources to investigate, prosecute, and prevent crimes involving the sexual exploitation of children.
If convicted, Elliott faces a maximum possible penalty of up to 50 years in federal prison for each count, along with a term of supervised release and fines. Any sentence would be determined by a federal judge after consideration of federal sentencing laws and guidelines.
