Florence E. “Flossie” Inama
, 93 years of age, a longtime resident of Mary-D, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, as a guest of Seton Manor in Orwigsburg. Born in Ellengown Schuylkill County on May 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Blanche (Short) Amos.

Flossie was a woman of many talents and a quiet, industrious spirit. After many years in the textile industry at Brockton Sportswear and later at Tamaqua Home Savings and Loan, she retired, but her hands were rarely still. A gifted seamstress, she was famous among her daughters and nieces for the intricate, custom Barbie outfits she painstakingly created. Her kitchen was the center of family life; no gathering was complete without her beloved baked goods, which remain a cherished memory for her children, grandchildren, and beyond.

Flossie was also predeceased by; her husband of 39 years, Albert Arthur Inama; siblings, John Amos, Lester Amos, Mabel Clemens, Mary Amos, Phyllis Amos, Blanche Amos, Jane Perry, Audrey Thrash; son-in-law, Robert Beers Jr..

Surviving are son, Albert A. Inama, Jr. and his wife Patti; daughters, Elaine Inama, Cheryl Swinburne wife of Scott; grandchildren, Summre Patricella and her husband Etrik, Joshua Inama, Brandey Coleman and her husband Mike, Brian Melochick, Kristen Schultz and her husband Justin, Travis Melochick, Jared Beers and his wife Amanda, Danielle Aitchison and her husband Nick both Master Sgt's in the United States Air Force; great grandchildren, Lilly Beck, Baela, Indigo, Quinn, Gabe, Eva, Brayden, Aubry, Rebel, Jack; great great grandchild, Arden.

Flossie was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday February 23, 2026 at 11 o'clock A.M. from St. John XXIII R.C.C. 309 Pine street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.

Private interment St. Bartholomew R.C.C. Brockton, Pennsylvania.

Joseph R. Burns
, age 89, of Pottsville, passed away at Edenbrook Greenwood Hill Nursing Home on February 18, 2026.

He was the son of James and Emma (Schoffstall) Burns.

Joe graduated from Pottsville Catholic High School, Pottsville in 1954. He served in the Marine Corp Reserves. He was a self employed masonry contractor. Joe was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where he served on numerous committees and assisted for many years with altar serving and fundraisers. He served as a volunteer fire fighter for 62 years with the Yorkville Hose Company, driving the truck for decades. He received the Outstanding Service Award from Yorkville Hose in 2007. He was also a member of St. Bernard's Beneficial Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his twin brother John "Jack" Burns.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ann M. (Siminavage) Burns, originally from New Philadelphia, his children Joseph (Kathy), Ohio; Grace (Ken) Auerbeck, Middletown and Robert (Dawn), Cressona; grandchildren Joseph (Jennifer), Kristin (Josh) Lewis, Tyler (Jessica), Corey, Gabrielle (Jim) Shomberg, Casey, Gina, Braden, Brent and Delaney; nine great grandchildren, brothers James (Nancy) and Jerry (Heidi); brother and sister in law Ken and Janet Stoppi, sister in law Virginia Burns; nieces and nephews.

Joe loved hanging out at the Yorkville Hose Company. He loved attending his grandchildren's athletic events and spending time with his family. He never said no to an adventure nor to a bowl of ice cream. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Pottsville on Saturday , February 28 at 11 am with Father Bobbin officiating.

A viewing will be held prior from 9 am until the time of Mass, as the Church.

Interment will be held privately at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Yorkville Hose Company, 1963 W Norwegian Street, Pottsville PA 17901 or St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 913 Mahantongo, Pottsville PA 17901.

Esther Drumheller
, 64, a resident of Turkey Run, passed away on February 14, 2026.

Esther was born in Shenandoah on May 11, 1961, a daughter of the late Albert and Elva (Kline) Drumheller. She attended the Shenandoah Valley School District and was of the Methodist faith. She was last employed running the Kit Kat line at the Hershey Company in Humbolt. Esther loved going to the local auction, and could always find a bargain.

In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Albert Jr., Barry and Paul, along with a sister, Lori Malinowski.

She is survived by a son, Josh; two brothers, Brian and Daniel and seven sisters, Linda Shoup, Fran Lyon, Carrie Valousky, Trudy Kreisl, Nancy Kiessling, Kim Letcavage and Connie Gallagher.

The Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home in Ringtown is providing private services to Esthers family during their time of need.

Susan H. Enders
, 78, of Shenandoah, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest in Allentown.

Born in Shenandoah on October 29, 1947, Susan was the beloved daughter of John and Mary (Shutovich) Donchak.

Susan graduated from the former J.W. Cooper High School in Shenandoah. In her younger years, she was interested in painting and loved to go out dancing. She always enjoyed listening to music, had a great sense of humor, and was fond of a good joke.

Susan worked for many years as a cashier at K-Mart, where her warm smile and good heart put people at ease.

A deeply devout and spiritual woman, Susan held a special devotion to the Blessed Mother for strength, comfort, and guidance.

Though fiercely independent, she was dedicated to her family and made countless sacrifices to ensure their happiness and well-being.

She always said how proud she was of her three sons and her granddaughter, whose high school graduation she attended last year.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her five brothers, Joseph, John, George, Michael, and Stephen, and her three sisters, Anna, Irene, and Monica.

She is lovingly survived by her three sons: James Enders and his wife, Tania, of North Carolina; Christopher Enders and David Enders of Shenandoah; her sister, Betsy Andrijiw of Erie, PA; her granddaughter, Julia Enders; and many nieces and nephews.

Susan leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and quiet strength that will live on in our hearts. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 21st from 10am to 12pm at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc. Religious services and burial will be held at a later date.
