According to initial reports, the crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Route 61 and East Adamsdale Road, near Orwigsburg.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene for a report of a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection.
One of the individuals involved in the crash was transported to Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
The condition of the other driver involved has not been released at this time.
Authorities have not yet identified those involved, pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven.
