Lake Wynonah Man Charged with Strangulation, Child Endangerment; Held in Schuylkill County Prison

A Lake Wynonah man is facing multiple felony charges following an incident investigated by Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven.
According to court records, Fulbright Phillip Jr., 42, of Lake Wynonah, was charged on March 26, 2026, with the following offenses:
  • Strangulation (Felony 2)
  • Endangering the Welfare of Children (Felony 3)
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person (Misdemeanor 2)
  • Simple Assault (Misdemeanor 2)
  • Terroristic Threats (Misdemeanor 1)
  • Harassment (Summary)

State Police allege that Phillip applied pressure to the throat or neck of a juvenile during the incident, leading to the strangulation charge. Additional charges stem from conduct that allegedly placed others, including a child, at risk.

The incident was allegedly over the juvenile's room being dirty when the argument became physical.

Phillip was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli in Frackville.

Following arraignment, he was committed to Schuylkill County Prison after bail was set at $25,000 cash, 10%, meaning $2,500 would be required for release.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 9, 2026, before Magisterial District Judge Christian Lengel.
