Motorists traveling through Schuylkill County should expect delays this week as PennDOT has scheduled multiple maintenance projects beginning Monday, March 30, 2026.
The work will take place in several municipalities and is expected to continue through Friday, April 3, 2026. All projects will occur during daytime hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..
Washington Township
Drainage work is planned on Dad Burnhams Road between PA 895 and PA 443. Drivers should anticipate lane restrictions with flagging while crews complete the project.
Butler Township
Pothole patching will be conducted along High Road. Lane restrictions with flagging will be in place.
North Manheim Township
Two separate projects are scheduled:
- On PA 183 between PA 901 and PA 61, PennDOT crews will perform miscellaneous maintenance work under lane restrictions.
- On PA 901 between PA 183 and US 209, additional maintenance work will take place with lane restrictions and flagging.
