Schuylkill County Man Charged After Child Sexual Abuse Material Investigation by State Police

A Schuylkill Haven man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police into alleged child sexual abuse material and online communications involving minors.
Leonard Nathaniel Dubose, 39, of Schuylkill Haven, was charged by the Pennsylvania State Police Troop L Criminal Investigation Unit on March 5, 2026.

According to court documents, Dubose is charged with four counts of dissemination of child sexual abuse material, four counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. The offenses are alleged to have occurred on July 5, 2024.

Investigation Began with CyberTip Reports

According to the criminal complaint, the investigation began when the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation received five CyberTip referrals from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

The referrals referenced activity that occurred on July 5, July 14, July 30, August 24, September 9, and September 10, 2024.

Investigators reported the tips involved explicit messages between an adult and a minor as well as explicit images and videos involving prepubescent females between the ages of 8 and 15.

Digital Records Traced to Schuylkill Haven Address

During the investigation, state police obtained records through T-Mobile, which provided an IP address that investigators traced to 429 Dock Street in Schuylkill Haven.

A subpoena to Google also returned information including a cellphone number and Google Pay account data that investigators said also led back to the same Dock Street address.

Search Warrant Executed

Police reported that on February 26, 2026, Schuylkill Haven Police made contact with Dubose at the residence.

A search warrant for the home was later authorized by Magisterial District Judge Christian Lengel on March 3, 2026.

On March 5, 2026, members of the Pennsylvania State Police executed the warrant.

According to the complaint, Dubose told investigators he had lived at the Dock Street residence with his girlfriend for approximately two years. Police said he also admitted to using the Kik messaging application, where he received explicit content involving children.

Investigators conducted a digital extraction of a cellphone during the investigation, which police said revealed explicit videos involving young female children.
