Rachel Ann Fidler, 43, of Girardville, has been charged by State Police at Schuylkill Haven with felony counts of theft of leased property and theft by unlawful taking, along with misdemeanor charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal mischief.
According to court documents, troopers were dispatched on March 11, 2026, to Enterprise Rent-A-Car along Route 61 in North Manheim Township for a report of a stolen vehicle.
An investigation determined that Fidler had been renting a Nissan through an insurance company, but the insurance coverage stopped paying for the vehicle on December 25, 2025. Attempts by Enterprise representatives to contact Fidler and have the vehicle returned or payments continued were unsuccessful.
On March 11, 2026, troopers located the vehicle parked outside Fidler’s residence. The vehicle was towed and returned to Enterprise. While on scene, police observed damage to the passenger side door. The branch manager indicated he had been unaware of the damage.
The estimated cost of the damage was reported to be $19,721.08.
Charges were filed through the office of Magisterial District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek in Orwigsburg.
