Jewelry and Coins Stolen from New Philadelphia Home, State Police Investigating


Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating a theft in which jewelry and coins valued at approximately $2,500 were stolen from a residence in New Philadelphia Borough.
According to state police, the theft occurred sometime between 3:00 p.m. on May 15, 2026, and 5:00 p.m. on May 21, 2026, at a home on Valley Street.

Troopers said an unknown suspect entered the victim's residence and removed three gold diamond rings valued at $2,000 and 15 miscellaneous coins valued at $500 from a jewelry armoire located in the living room.

The suspect then fled the area in an unknown direction by unknown means of travel.

The victim was identified by police as a 57-year-old woman from New Philadelphia.
