Just before 5:30 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of 350 Sweet Arrow Lake Road for a reported still water rescue.
According to initial reports, a fisherman on the lake spotted the vehicle underwater while using a device capable of scanning beneath the surface.
A Pennsylvania State Police trooper arrived at the scene and requested Schuylkill County dive teams to assist with the investigation and recovery efforts.
Early reports from the scene indicated that no occupants were found inside the vehicle, though that information had not been officially confirmed as of Sunday evening.
By 7:15 p.m., multiple emergency units remained at the scene, including a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter.
