Joseph Peter Padelsky, 75, of Black Heath, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
Born in Pottsville on January 14, 1951, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Santak) Padelsky.
Joey was a 1969 graduate of Minersville Area High School. He worked in the garment manufacturing industry at various locations, including Jackson Blouse and Alpha Mills, until his retirement.
An avid sports fan, Joey cheered for his favorite Philadelphia teams and enjoyed trips to many sports venues, including those in Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, and Baltimore over the years.
Joey was a faithful lifelong member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville, a former member of the Cass Township Fire Company, and a dedicated patron of Lazarchick’s Café, where he could be found every Friday evening with his friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Carol Ann Hohman and brother Robert “Bobby” Padelsky.
Surviving are his brother-in-law, Joseph Hohman of Orwigsburg; nieces Jennifer Tracyk (Chris) and Therese Hohman; nephew Joseph Hohman; great-nephew Preston; great-niece Sydney; and his cousin and best friend, Jake Pielacha.
The family will receive visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home & Cremation Care Inc., 200 Sunbury St., Minersville, on Thursday, May 14, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday, May 15, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, when we will process to church.
Requiem Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 415 N. Front St., Minersville. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Branch Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Nicholas Church.

Eileen was a 1967 graduate of Queen of the Universe High School in Levittown and held many sales related jobs after graduation, one being running her father's hardware store. Later in life she earned an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Lehigh Carbon Community College and went on to work for many years in that capacity at St. Luke's Miner Memorial Hospital in Coaldale from which she retired.
A woman of the Catholic faith, Eileen will be remembered for her warm and outgoing personality, her sincerity, and the genuine love she had for people. She was kind, compassionate, and an easygoing listener who took a sincere interest in others and made people feel comfortable in her presence. Full of life and laughter, Eileen enjoyed singing and playing guitar, entertaining family and friends, and organizing outings and gatherings — especially dinners out with those she cared about most.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, Eileen is survived by a cousin, Barbara Desiderio of Philadelphia; and by four dear friends, Eileen McGuire, Tamaqua and Randy Dax of Easton, both best friends for over 45 years, and more recently Pat Stefanek and Rachelle Coleman, both of Tamaqua.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 307 Pine Street, Tamaqua. Friends may call from 10:30-11 AM at the church.
Memorial contributions in Eileen’s name may be made to Tamaqua Arts Center or online at www.tamaquaarts.org.

Thomas Vincent Mull, age 72, of Port Carbon, PA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 8th, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill in Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville, PA on December 21, 1953, he was the son of the late Robert and Delma (Miller) Mull.
Tom was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 1971. He worked as a forklift operator first at H.L. Miller and Sons in Port Carbon for over 20 years and then for Big Lots Distribution. After retiring, Tom worked part time in maintenance for the Williamson, Friedberg, and Jones Law Firm. Tom was the Pottsville High School Girls Assistant Softball Coach for 20 years and also coached in the Pottsville Youth Softball League. He always attended all of his daughter's and his grandchildren's games. Tom was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Flyers and a Penn State Fan and was also a very good artist, who loved drawing. Tom would drop everything and help anyone who needed it. He was a true "handyman".
Tom is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doreen Marie (Guzick) Mull; daughters: Lori Yost and her husband Rusty, Lisa Frantz and her husband Justin, Lindsey Galle and her husband Nicholas, and Leanne Wartella and her husband Jake; nine grandchildren: Damon, Darren, Megan, Payton, Liam, Finley, Jake, Jett, and Mina; brother Robert Mull and his wife Kathy; sister Barbara Miller and her husband Ben; and nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon on Thursday May 14th at 10:30AM, with Pastor Chris Rothharpt officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening from 6-8pm and Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30am at the Funeral Home
Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may by made in Tom's memory to the Pottsville Area High School Thomas Mull Scholarship Fund at the Pottsville Area High School, 1600 Elk Avenue, Pottsville, PA 17901.
