Police in Ashland assisted Northumberland County Probation on Friday in executing a warrant that led to the arrest of a local man.
According to authorities, officers responded to a residence at 718 Walnut Street, where Ryan Collins was taken into custody on a probation violation warrant.
Officials said Collins is classified as a Tier 1 offender under Megan's Law.
No additional details regarding the nature of the probation violations were immediately released.
He was transported back to Northumberland County for processing.
