According to police, Yalexis Puguero was last seen on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at approximately 12:00 p.m. Authorities say he was traveling toward New York while driving a 2007 Acura sedan bearing Pennsylvania registration NGE-7240.
Police are urging anyone who has seen Puguero, knows his whereabouts, or has information that may help locate him to contact 911 immediately. Anonymous tips may also be submitted through the Hazleton City Police Department's CrimeWatch page.
In addition, the department issued a notice regarding an unofficial missing person flyer that has been circulating on social media and through other channels. Officials emphasized that the flyer was not created, approved, or released by the Hazleton City Police Department and noted that the phone number listed on that version contains incorrect information.
To ensure accurate information is shared, police are asking members of the public and media outlets to rely only on the official missing person flyer released by the department.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
