According to court documents, Kevin Joseph Needle, 44, of Mount Airy, Maryland, is charged with one felony count of criminal trespass, two misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, and two misdemeanor counts of harassment stemming from an incident on July 21, 2026, in East Union Township.
Police say officers were dispatched to a residence along Green Mountain Road after receiving a report of a possible PFA violation. Dispatchers also advised responding officers that the suspect had reportedly indicated he would fight with police. Additional officers from Shenandoah and Union Township police departments responded to assist.
When officers arrived, they were met by the caller's brother, who told police Needle had claimed he was inside the residence looking for his speakers. After the protected party arrived and granted officers permission to search the home, police found no one inside. The woman told officers she had an active Protection From Abuse order against Needle, which police confirmed through the Schuylkill County Communication Center.
Investigators allege the woman showed officers numerous text messages in which Needle threatened to kill her and her boyfriend and burn the house down. Police said the woman also reported receiving repeated calls and text messages from Needle throughout the day and night despite the active PFA order.
According to the criminal complaint, investigators allege Needle admitted entering the residence while asking about his speakers. Police also allege he repeatedly communicated threats of violence and continued contacting the victim at all hours.
A criminal complaint was filed on July 22, and the case remains awaiting a preliminary hearing. Court records indicate Needle has not been taken into custody, and the charges remain active.
