Schuylkill County Area Students Earn Degrees from Kutztown University


More than 1,200 students were awarded degrees by Kutztown University following the completion of the Spring 2026 semester, including dozens of graduates from Schuylkill County and the surrounding area.
Kutztown University announces degree recipients twice each year, following the spring and fall semesters. While commencement ceremonies are held in May and December, students complete graduation requirements throughout the academic year.

Several local graduates also earned academic honors based on their cumulative grade point averages. Kutztown University awards cum laude honors to students with a GPA of 3.40 or higher, magna cum laude to those with a GPA of 3.60 or higher, and summa cum laude to graduates with a GPA of 3.80 or higher.
