Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Shenandoah.
The crash occurred just after 7:30pm, Monday, at the intersection of East Centre Street and South Bridge Street in the borough.
The crash involved a pickup truck that struck the driver's side of the minivan, pushing both vehicle into a pole at the nearby convenience store.
The drivers of both vehicles were transported to landing zones and flown to area hospitals. A third person was transported by ground to the hospital. A second passenger in the minivan was not injured.
Responding to the scene was the Shenandoah Fire Department and the West End Fire and Rescue from Mahanoy City. Ambulances from Shenandoah, Ashland, and Area Services assisted with transporting the victims.
Shenandoah Police is investigating the crash.
