Knoebels Extends 100th Anniversary Season With Fall Events

The summer season may be winding down, but Knoebels Amusement Resort is keeping the fun going with weekend operations, fundraisers and four weekends of Halloween festivities this fall.
The park’s fall schedule includes September Weekends, the annual Doggie Dive, the Knoebel Lumber 5K and Hallo-Fun, extending Knoebels’ 100th anniversary season through early November.

“Fall is a great time to visit Knoebels,” said Brian Knoebel, president of Knoebels Amusement Resort. “The pace changes a little, the leaves start changing, and there’s just something special about being in ‘The Grove’ this time of year.”

Knoebels will be open Sept. 12-13, Sept. 19-20 and Sept. 26-27. Saturday hours will be noon to 8 p.m., while Sunday hours will be noon to 7 p.m. Ride passes will be available during each weekend.

A “Buy One Today, Get One Next May” promotion will be offered Saturday, Sept. 26. Guests who purchase a ride pass that day will receive a free ride pass valid on select dates in May 2027.

The annual Doggie Dive will return to Crystal Pool from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13. Dogs will have an opportunity to take a dip in the pool while their owners visit vendor booths and meet representatives from local animal rescues.

All proceeds from the Doggie Dive will be donated to participating rescues. Advance registration is available at knbls.fun/DoggieDive26.

Another fall fundraiser, the 33rd annual Knoebel Lumber 5K, will be held Saturday, Oct. 10.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at Pavilion L, with the race starting at 9 a.m. The first 250 registered participants will receive an official race T-shirt, and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.

Proceeds from the race will benefit the Ralpho Township Public Library. Participants can register online at knbls.fun/K5K2026.

Knoebels will then celebrate the Halloween season with four weekends of Hallo-Fun. The event is scheduled for Oct. 9-11, Oct. 16-18, Oct. 23-25 and Oct. 30 through Nov. 1.

During Hallo-Fun, the park will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. Fridays, 2 to 10 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Guests can purchase ride passes or individual ride tickets. Several pre-opening activities will also be offered on Saturdays and Sundays.

“We’ve had a lot to celebrate at Knoebels this year, and Hallo-Fun provides another reason to get together before the park season comes to an end,” said Jon Slodysko, Knoebels’ ride operations manager.

Slodysko said guests can expect new decorations, food and activities in addition to the Hallo-Fun traditions that return each year.
