POTTSVILLE — Pottsville Area captured its second Schuylkill League girls’ volleyball championship in three years with a three-set sweep of Tri-Valley on , at Martz Hall.
The Crimson Tide won the championship match 25-16, 25-23, 25-18.
Pottsville Wins Championship in Straight Sets
Pottsville opened with a nine-point victory in the first set, then edged Tri-Valley 25-23 in the second to take a 2-0 lead.
The Crimson Tide completed the sweep with a 25-18 victory in the third set to claim the league title.
