Possibility of Heavy Rain For Schuylkill County and Parts of Pennsylvania Tuesday

The National Weather Service has announced the possibility of Heavy Rain for Schuylkill County and parts of Pennsylvania this week.


According to the National Weather Service, there is the possibility of 2.75" or more of rain over the next 2-3 days.

The rain is expected to start in the early morning hours of Tuesday and the heaviest rain is expected midday.  There is the possibility of flash flooding during the heavy rains due to poor drainage or low lying areas.

The heavy rain will end Tuesday evening but thunderstorms will still linger.

There is the possibility of showers on Wednesday morning but by the end of the afternoon the sunshine should return.
