Myron L. Sausser III, 72, Daytona Beach, FL formerly of Ashland passed away on Wednesday April 17th at Halifax Health Hospital, Florida.

Born in Ashland in October of 1951, he was a son of the late Myron L. Sausser Jr. and Peggy (Campion) Sausser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his baby niece, Carlee Marlow.

Myron is survived by his two sisters: Christine Marlow and her husband Jack, Ashland; Diane Frank and her late husband Harry Frank, Cogan Station; his nephews and nieces: Jack (Jen) Marlow, Dennis Marlow, Brenda (Dan) Harper, Harry (April) Frank and Asa Frank; great nieces, nephews and aunts, uncles and many cousins including Andy and Rob Harris, who were always there for him.

Myron was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, where he learned to pilot small aircrafts before enlisting in the United States Army. Upon his honorably discharge from the service, Myron toured the United States before finally settling in Ormond Beach, Florida. He worked for Seabo Marinas and the city of Ormond Beach until his retirement. While living in Florida, he enjoyed sailing, fishing and digging for oysters.

Myron was always an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail, fishing in the “Sock,” and spending time at the cabin. He was a loving, free spirited man with a great sense of humor. He was devoted to his mother and family, with whom he frequently contacted and was generous to his nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Mary Helen “Mimi”Mettam
, 60, of St. Clair, passed away Saturday April 20, 2024 at LVHN-Schuylkill East.

Born in Pottsville, June 25, 1963, She was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Isabelle (Ross) Mettam.

She was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School and Mercyhurst University.

Mimi was the owner of Mettam Brothers Lumber Company, St. Clair.

She was a Vice President of St. Clair Women’s Club, and Past President of St. Clair Little League and was involved in many other community events.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Sean Mettam in 2014

Surviving are her husband Michael E. Bulino; sons Justin Dutcavich and his wife Megan of St. Clair; Ian Bulino of St. Clair; Luke Bulino and his wife Laura of Concord, MA; daughters Rochelle Bulino of St. Clair; Taryn Johnson of Allison Park; brother Kenneth Mettam and his wife Melissa of Palo Alto; 5 Grandchildren Owen, Liam, Brady, Zoey, Emerson. Niece Isabelle Mettam.

Memorial Services will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair, PA 17970 with Msgr. William Glosser Officiating. Friends may call from 5:30-7:30PM Thursday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clair Women’s Club, c/o Michelle Price 18 S. Nichols St. St. Clair, PA 17970. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Herta Johanna (Rohmann) Weiser
, 95, of Orwigsburg, was taken by her heavenly father on Thursday, April 18th, at Green Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Herta was born in Germany on June 28, 1928, a daughter of the late Julia and Hermann Rohmann.
She was the widow of Alvin E. Weiser to whom she was married for 54 years.

She worked in administration at Van Huesen prior to retiring. Herta was a founding member of the International War Brides Club and greatly enjoyed her special club meetings with all her close friends. Herta is survived by her daughter, Evelyn R. Johns, widow of Robert of Orwigsburg, and
a son, David J.Weiser, husband of Jennifer of Lititz, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren John Minchhoff, husband of Robin and Christopher Weiser and his fiancé Jackie; Great grandchildren Dylan, Evan, and Jordon Minchhoff, as well as many friends.

She is predeceased by a brother Siegfried Rohmann.

A Memorial gathering will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday May 9th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. Orwigsburg. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library, 216 West Independence Street, Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Ann L. Gomez
, age 81, of Trappe PA formerly of Mahanoy City, passed away Sunday in Lansdale. 

Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital she was the daughter of the late Earl and Elizabeth (Edwards) Mclaren. She was a 1960 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and worked as a medical assistant. Ann cherished time spent with her family, grandchildren, lifelong close friends and loved traveling. 

Survivors include her husband of 60 years Robert T. Gomez, two sons Robert T. Gomez Jr. and his wife Felicia of Horsham, and William E. Gomez of Royersford, four grandchildren Brandon, Emerson, Elsa and Maximo. 

Services will be private.

Edna T. Romanick
, age 97, of Grier City, passed away Saturday at The Gardens at York Terrace in Pottsville.

Born in Hosensock, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Touchinsky) Slotcavage. She attended area schools and had worked in the garment industry. She was a member of St. Richard's Church in Barnesville. 

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Stephen in 1972 and her son Mark Romanick in 2020 and her siblings Charles, Francis, Albert, John,Helen, Eleanor, Dorothy Marie and Josephine. 

Survivors include one daughter Deborah Kerestus of Hazleton, 2 sisters Jennie Jeffries and Elizabeth Schaar and a brother Richard Slotcavage, grandchildren Shawn and Lynzee Kerestus, Allison Revels and Melissa Romanick and a great granddaughter Breelynn Revels, nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Robert Finlan at 12 Noon Saturday May 4, 2024 from St. Richard's Church in Barnesville. 

Friends may call at the church beginning at 11 AM until time of Mass. 

Contributions in her name to St. Richard's Church would be appreciated and accepted at the visitation

Michael B. Konidas
, age 86, of Barnesville, passed away Saturday morning at his home.

Born in New Boston he was the son of the late Michael and Sophia (Zegley) Konidas. He was a graduate of Mahanoy Township High School and served with the United States Navy. He had been employed by ACME markets. He was a member of St. Richard's Church in Barnesville, Ryan Township Fire Company, American Legion Post 74 of Mahanoy City and the UFCW union. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed fishing and his many trips to Canada with his friends. He also enjoyed going to the shore with his family for vacation. 

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his son Michael L. Konidas, a brother John and a sister Julia Mikrut. 

Survivors include his wife of 66 years the former Jean Heiler, two daughters Sharon Kidd and her husband Troy of Lehighton and Michelle Staller and her fiancĂ©' Alan Kohler of Northampton, a sister Joann Pangonis of New Boston, a granddaughter Amanda Staller as well as nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Saturday morning at 9:30 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Robert Finlan at 10 AM from St. Richard's Church. 

Interment will follow at Sky View Memorial park in Hometown. 

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday morning beginning at 8:30 AM.

Linda M. Guzick
, beloved wife, mother, grammy, 66 years of age, of Third Street Port Carbon, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at home while in the loving care of her family.

Born Friday, July 19, 1957 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Wayne, and Rose (Parry) Smith. Linda was also predeceased by; brother, Wayne Smith Jr.

Surviving are; her husband of 49 years, Bernard F. Guzick, Jr.; daughters, Nancy L. House wife of Kerry, Heather Guzick and her significant other Vanessa; sons, Bernard F. Guzick III and his wife Jenny, Brett Guzick, Joseph Guzick and his wife Demi; grandchildren, Courtney, Bradley, Brooklyn, Elijah, Zach, Bernard, Hunter, McKenna, Elias, Joei; great grandchildren, Norah, and Xzaviar.

Linda cherished providing a loving home for her husband, children, and grandchildren. After raising her family, Linda worked as an Associate at the St. Clair Walmart. She enjoyed reading, shopping online, and the companionship of Heather's dog FiFi.
