Clark F. Foster
, 80, of New Ringgold, passed away Friday, April 19th, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale.

Clark was born in Orwigsburg, on June 1, 1943, a son of the late Marilyn F. (Rolland) and Edgar Foster. He was the husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Kistler) Foster. They were married August 10th, 1968. He was a member of Zion's United Methodist Church, New Ringgold, and was employed during his life as a Truck Driver.

In addition to his wife, Betty, of 55 years, Clark is survived by two daughters, Karen M.Krebs, wife of Christopher and Kimberly Derstine. his sister, Georgine Berger, wife of Ray; a brother, David Foster, husband of Ruth Ann. He is also survived by his grandchildren Christina, Natalie and Alexandra Krebs; Eric & Adam Derstine and great grandchildren Victor, Marina, Caroline and Colton.

A Religious Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg. Visitation will begin at noon.

Interment will follow at Drehersville Evangelical Cemetery Inc. Rt 895.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion's United Methodist Church, C/O Donna Brobst, PO Box 87, New Ringgold, PA 17960

Jean T. Reddington, 96, a lifelong resident of Pottsville, passed away on Saturday, April 20th, 2024.

Jean was born in Pottsville on September 22, 1927, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (Canfield) Reddington. She was a 1946 graduate of the Pottsville high school and was employed for 28 years in the tax claim bureau for Schuylkill County, retiring in 1988. She then worked par time for five years in the Minersville office of Harry Ebling & Associates, ending in 1994.

Jean was a member of the former Mary Queen of Peace Church, where she served as past secretary and treasurer of the Ladies Guild. She was presently a member of St. Patrick's Church in Pottsville.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her siblings, Frances Reddington Margle, Catherine Farrell, Rita McCaffrey, Elizabeth Reddington, Ellen Martin, the Rev. Benjamin Reddington, James Reddington, John Reddington and Thomas Reddington.

Jean is survived by her sister, Ann DeAngeles along with several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 319 Mahantango Street, Pottsville at 11 AM on Friday, April 26th, 2024. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church begining at 10:45 AM. Jean will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, immediately following mass.

The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Pottsville, is honored to serve the family of Jean during this time of need.

Elizabeth (Betty) H. Verbosh
, formerly of Duncott, passed away, Friday, April 19, 2024, at Genesis Eldercare Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

Betty was born in New Philadelphia, on April 22, 1930, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Micklasavage) and John Butcavage.

She was the wife of the late John Verbosh who died March 31, 2002.

She was a member of ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Minersville. Before her retirement she was employed as a waitress.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marcella, Margaret, Isabelle, Mary, Julie, Adele, Anna, and Katie, and a brother, Albert.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Deborah, wife of Tom Scanlan,

four sons, John, husband of Darlene Verbosh, Dennis Verbosh, Thomas Verbosh, James Verbosh. Betty is also survived by her Grandchildren, Christina, Jason, Jennifer, Dennis Jr., & T.J. Great grandchildren; Tristan, Kai, Milo, Madison and Kayla, and Great great grandson Parker. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home, Minersville, as well as Thursday. The Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Thursday at Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Minersville, with the Very Reverend Gegory J. Noga celebrant.

Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery New Philadelphia.
