UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory Extended

The National Weather Service has extended it's Winter Weather Advisory in Schuylkill County until 7am Tuesday


WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST TUESDAY... 

 * LOCATIONS...CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA. 

 * HAZARD TYPES...SNOW. 

 * TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 8 INCHES...WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS OVER THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS AND SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS. THE LIGHTEST AMOUNTS WILL BE OVER THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY. 

 * TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE AREA TODAY INTO TONIGHT. THE SNOW SHOULD FINALLY TAPER OFF TUESDAY MORNING. 

 * IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL DUE TO SNOW COVERED ROADS.
