Officers observed Elko drive his vehicle up and over the sidewalk at the Turkey Hill gas station.
Elko then drove his vehicle down a one way street leading officers to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. Officers found Elko to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of operating his vehicle. Elko submitted to further testing and was deemed to have a BAC that was higher then the legal limit. Elko was charged with DUI Highest Rate, DUI Incapable of Safe Driving, Careless driving, One Way Road Way Rotary Traffic Islands, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief and Restraint Systems.
