EMT Saves Man's Life During Church Service in Ashland

EMT Angela Kane, Ashland, came to the aid of a man during a church service Sunday morning and saved his life.

Sunday morning, during mass at St. Charles Borromeo, Ashland, a man went unresponsive during the service.  Kane, an EMT, jumped into action, assessed the patient, and found no pulse, she immediately began administering CPR.

The man was later flown to an area hospital.  He still remained in the hospital Monday, but because of Kane, is alive today.

Kane said "Thank you first of all. I truly believe it was a successful team effort. Many people came together that morning, and contributed to saving this gentleman's life. I was just doing my part. We are keeping him and his family in our prayers."

Great job Angela!
