FYE Announces Liquidation Sale and Another Store Leaving Schuylkill Mall

More signs of change began Tuesday at the Schuylkill Mall.

On Tuesday, FYE began a liquidation sale of it's products but according to employees the store has not announced if it is closing.  Signs in the store show products are listed anywhere from 30% to 50% off.

FYE, owned by Transworld Entertainment, has been in the mall since the early 2000's when Transworld purchased Disc Jockey.

This and That, a convenient store that sells various products has also announced that it will be leaving at the end of March along with a kiosk that resides outside the store in the mall.

The sale of the Schuylkill Mall to Northpoint Development LLC was reported to be final on Tuesday.
Current tenants in the mall are reported to be on a month to month lease.

Attempts to communicate with Northpoint on their plans have not been successful and tenants of the mall have received little information on the future of their stores.
