Police Investigating Vandalism at Schuylkill Mall Demolition Site

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating vandalism at the Schuylkill Mall Demolition site.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, over the past weekend, someone vandalized the equipment being used to demolished the former Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township.

Police say someone smashed the windows out of 5 heavy duty excavators and 1 front end loader that were parked inside a chain link fence surrounding the property.

The equipment was reported to be owned by Bill Flynn and the estimated damage is approximately $4,500.
