Schuylkill County Weather Forecast

By: Monsoon Mike

One more wintry weather event is on the way, folks, and I promise, this is the last one ... for at least a week. In fact, by Sunday, we may be flirting in spring-like territory with temperatures deep into the 50s! To get there, however, we need to get through another winter storm, this one very minor, but coming at the totally wrong time ... the morning rush.

Light snow should begin around 6 a.m. and continue only until about noon, dropping a general 1 to 2 inches, maybe 3 across the region, but again, coming at the wrong time, during the morning rush.

The afternoon dries out but another dusting is possible in the evening as a final little slice of energy moves through.

Beyond Tuesday's storm, temperatures are on the uptick into the 30s, 40s, and eventual 50s by the weekend. Hang in there, folks!
