Water Plant Employee Caught Urinating Into Filtering System

A water plant employee of the Schuylkill County Municipal Authority was caught urinating into a filtering system.


According to an article posted by The Morning Call, Paul Herb, 52, of Marlin was caught urinating into a filtering unit at a treatment plant that provides drinking water to the Pottsville Area the morning of April 20th.  He was caught when the chief water operator went into Indian run Water Treatment Plant in Branch Township to help Herb fix faulty valves.

Herb was charged with tampering with a public water system, institutional vandalism, and criminal mischief.
